About Taylor Wencel
Taylor is an experienced human trafficking, exploitation and missing and murdered persons professional, trainer and keynote speaker. Her work sits at the intersection of trafficking, MMIR, ICAC and predatory crimes, victim services, criminal justice and multidisciplinary response.
She has worked with partners at the local, state, Tribal and federal levels, bringing a view of each case from investigation, prosecution, victim services, corrections, healthcare, education and death investigation.
Human trafficking does not exist in a silo. Neither do missing persons, murdered persons, exploitation or the vulnerabilities offenders exploit.

Case Consultation & Technical Assistance
Another set of trained eyes, a specialized perspective and a multidisciplinary approach to complex cases. Taylor works alongside your agency and never replaces the responsible investigator, prosecutor or medical examiner.
Case Review
Examine known information, find gaps, and consider victimology, risk factors and additional avenues of inquiry.
Open-Source Research
Research strategies and connections between seemingly separate incidents, people and locations.
Cross-Jurisdictional Support
Help with cases involving trafficking, missing and murdered persons, Indigenous persons and high-risk victimization.
Systems Response & Team Development
A missing person may also be experiencing exploitation. A trafficking victim may first appear at a school, emergency department or correctional facility. Taylor helps organizations build systems that recognize and respond to these intersections.
Mission & Vision
Mission
To turn knowledge into action by equipping professionals, agencies and communities with the training, tools, expertise and partnerships needed to recognize exploitation, strengthen investigations, improve systems, find the missing, seek answers for the murdered, and better serve those impacted by violence and exploitation.
Vision
A future where complex cases are not overlooked because they cross systems or jurisdictions; where victims and missing persons do not disappear into the gaps between agencies; and where professionals have the knowledge and partnerships to act on what they find.
Train differently. Investigate creatively. Respond collaboratively.
